How it works

1. An NVC broadcast can originate from anywhere in the U.S. with appropriate production and satellite uplinking equipment or from the HTV studio in Louisville, KY.

2. The signal is transmitted to the satellite and received at community colleges around the United States. Hundreds of colleges, in communities of every size, are equipped to receive your broadcast.

3. The signal travels via an in-house cable to community college meeting rooms where your audience is gathered. The standard NVC package includes the room, downlink, audiovisual equipment, an on-site technician and access to a telephone.

4. Interaction via 1-800 phone lines allows broadcast participants to talk with program presenters or to fax questions to the studio.
